"Undeliverable" Error Codes and What They Mean

You do not have to wonder if a text message was delivered to a client! Meevo captures the delivery status of text messages and displays the information in the Appointment Audit Log.

  1. To get there, open the Appointment Editor for an appointment and select LOG in the top-right corner.
  2. Review the text message information displayed in the audit log. Text messages that appear as "Sent" can be considered "delivered" since they did not return any kind of error.
  3. If a message was not delivered, there are several possible "undeliverable" codes that might appear there.
    1. If Meevo receives a status of "undeliverable - 30006 (landline or unreachable carrier)", the phone number within the client profile will be immediately flagged as Undeliverable in the Opt-in status. This effectively opts out the number from receiving future text messages from Meevo since it is likely a landline.
    2. Additionally, to help avoid unnecessary charges, Meevo will mark the number as Undeliverable if it returns Error code 30004 "Message blocked" (which means the number is on a Do Not Call registry or has blocked the sending number) or Error code 30005 "Unknown destination" (which means the number no longer exists, is a landline, or there is a problem with the carrier).
    3. For all other error codes, see the section below.
