Unassigning or Hiding a User Defined Field

A User Defined Field can be unassigned from its App Area and/or deleted from Meevo provided that the field has not yet been "used" in a Meevo form. For more details, see About User Defined Fields.
  1. Go to Meevo > Data > User Defined Fields.
  2. Select Tab View.
  3. Locate the Tab Name or Service Name that contains the field(s) you wish to unassign. You can use the filters or enter a Search term to refine the list.
  4. Select Edit in the row.
  5. On the left side of the window is a list of assigned custom fields. Select Delete beside the field(s) you wish to unassign.

Note: If this field has already been "used" in Meevo and data has been collected on its use, an override icon appears in place of the trash can. In this case, the field is hidden. You can move the field to a new tab within that same App Area or inactivate it.

  1. Select Save to save your changes.
  2. In the User Defined Fields maintenance form Field View, the custom field's App Area/Tab or Service column changes to Unassigned.
