What is a Floor Location?

A Floor Location is a designated area in your business that you can associate with a product. When you link products to Floor Locations, you can quickly filter the Stock Levels list and Inventory Count list to display all items in a particular Floor Location of your business. Examples of Floor Locations may be Aisle 1, Behind Front Desk, or Northeast Corner.

Does a product require a Floor Location?

No, assigning a product to one or more Floor Locations is optional.

How do I associate a Floor Location with a product?

If you enable product inventory tracking in the Products maintenance form, you can add one or more Floor Locations.
