Editing a Location's Business Information and Settings

To get to Locations, type location into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Locations.

 

To edit a location's information or settings

  1. Search for the location and select it.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Modify any of the business information as needed.
  4. See this topic for details on closing a location.
  5. Enable Automatic Billing Service (Membership, Payment Plans, etc.): Select this option to automatically bill membership clients. If this option is deselected, billing service will not bill membership clients, but those clients can continue to use their memberships.

Note: If turning the billing service on, the next time it runs it will look 90 days into the past for any client membership payments that are in a Not Billed, Suspended, or Error state. If any are found, the billing service will attempt to re-bill those payments. The service does not take action on payments that are beyond 90 days in the past.

  • Disable all membership handling processes: If selected, EFTs are ignored and the billing engine does not suspend or freeze memberships. If not selected, the billing engine will run its process each night, but EFTs are not billed and are given the status selected in the What status should be given... option. We recommend leaving this "status" setting on the default option, Waived. Be aware that if you set this option to Not Billed and the billing service is re-enabled, Meevo will attempt to process all of those Not Billed EFTs from the past 90 days.
  1. Enable Appointment Notifications: Enables the appointment notification service, which sends various notifications to clients and employees. If deselected, no notifications can be sent or received. The location's notification settings remain as is, regardless of the status of this option.
  2. Enable Online Booking: Enables the Online Booking feature. If deselected, Online Booking is not available for this location. The location's Online Booking settings remain as is, regardless of the status of this option.
  3. Enable Third Party Integrations: Enables the Integrations feature. If deselected, all integrations are disabled at the location. The location's integration settings remain as is, regardless of the status of this option.
  4. Enable Online Walk-In Management: Enables the Online Wait List. If deselected, the Online Wait List is not available for this location. The location's settings remain as is, regardless of the status of this option.
  5. When finished, select Save.
