Package Transfer Liabilities

When a package is purchased at one location and redeemed at another, Meevo makes adjustments to ensure that the redeeming location is not losing revenue. When a package item is transferred or accrued, a new package is created as a "container" for that item. Below explains how and where that "new" package is created, based on a few common scenarios:

• When a new package is created as a result of a package transfer from one client to another, the new package is created in the same location as the source package.
• When a new package is created as a result of redeeming a package service via a split, the new package is created in the same location as the source package.
• When a new package is created as a result of redeeming a package service via merge, the new package is created at the location of the sale.
• When a new package is generated as a result of refunding a package item, the new package is created at the location of the sale.
