Resource Rules in Meevo
Client Capacity
- Configuring the resource capacity to 0 (zero) allows for manual double-booking of this resource. Meevo will never automatically double-book a resource, but you can manually double-book by selecting that resource in the Appointment Editor or moving an appointment in Resource View. However, when you use Scan for Opening, Meevo treats the resource as though it is a capacity of 1, so double-booking a resource is not possible when using Scan for Opening.
- Resources may or may not be divided.
- >1 capacity can be restricted to members of the same party.
- >1 capacity can be split among different parties.
- Anonymous clients are treated as unique clients.
- By design, resources with a capacity set to 1 can be double-booked if if the services booked are tied to the same client.
Services
- Resources are prioritized on the service.
- Multiple services can be performed for one client simultaneously within a resource.
- The resource will only be blocked for the duration of the longest service.
- You cannot block a bed or single resource; you can only block the whole room.
- Services can be assigned to a Resource Category.
- Locations can override the Service list for a specific resource.
Employees
- An employee can be assigned to work in a specific resource.
- Resources are not prioritized on the employee level.
- Resources can be booked without an employee for any service that requires a resource.
Scheduling
- Resources can be temporarily suspended for a block of time (for example, if a room is getting painted).
- Resource schedules are driven by business hours.
- Resource gap times are considered blocked, and cannot be booked.
