Paging Business Booster Frequently Asked Questions

This integrated paging system sends appointment status notifications to physical pagers configured for individual employees, alleviating the need to send emails and/or text messages to employees who may not have access to smart phones or tablets.

When does an employee receive a paging alert?

Note: Pages will be sent regardless of your business or employee notification settings.

An employee will receive a paging alert if any of the following events occur. These are for today's appointments only.

  • Client's appointment is booked
  • Client's appointment is moved or edited
  • Client's appointment is canceled/deleted
  • Client is marked as Checked-in
  • Client is marked as Running Late
  • Client is marked as No-Show

What information displays on the pager?

All pages display the following information to the employee:

[Client Name]  [Service]  [Status of Appointment (canceled, ADDED, etc.)]   [Appointment Start Time]  [Service Hours]

How does Paging work with Central Office and multiple locations?

In a multi-location business model, only locations can use the Paging Integration.

How do I turn Paging on or off?

Paging can be enabled and disabled from the Paging settings, accessible by selecting the Paging tile in the Integration tab of Meevo.

Next steps after adding the integration

When you purchase the Paging Integration, Millennium Systems International provides JTECH and TIE National with relevant information about your business (business name, number, tenant ID, etc.). A representative from each company will contact you to complete the sign-up process.

Some notes on paging hardware:

  • TIE National will reach out to your business to facilitate hardware purchase and installation. All hardware-related tasks, including on-site installation, are handled by those companies.
  • To install a transmitter, simply connect it to a network port using an Ethernet cable.
  • Transmitters bought in June 2017 or later will work with Meevo.
  • If needed, existing pagers can be renumbered, and the transmitter's Base ID can be changed. Be sure to talk to your hardware provider for details.

Once you've programmed the transmitter with TIE National, please reach out to us directly at (973) 402-8801 to set up a time to configure your employees’ pager settings.
