Step 2: Check In the Client in the Walk-In Manager

When the client arrives for an appointment (for example, if they booked themselves via the Online Wait List), they can check-in by entering their phone number in the Walk-In Kiosk, or they can check in at the front desk. In either case, make sure clients who arrive for a walk-in appointment are checked in, as this provides a visual indicator that the client is now waiting on-premises for the appointment.

This check-in is unrelated to the Appointment Book, as you cannot perform this action on a temporary appointment.

  1. Select the faded check next to the client name.

Note: If you selected Client will wait in waiting area when adding the client to Walk-In Manager, this icon will already be brighter (checked-in).

  1. The check becomes brighter, indicating that the client is checked-in and waiting on-premises.
  2. Your final step in the Walk-In Manager process is to book the appointment.
