What options are available when creating a service?

Aside from configuring the usual options like price levels, step timings, and booking options, you can also:

• Create a service as an add-on.
• Select and prioritize resources needed for the service.
• Create split rules to allow clients to split and merge package services.
• Create Swap Groups to allow clients to exchange or upgrade package services.
• Set up deductions and commission overrides for individual services.
• Create a service charge using the Service Charges feature.
• Set up Product Usage Tracking to automatically deduct products from inventory when a service is performed.

Does every service need to have a Service Category?

Yes, Service Category is a required field in the Services form.
