Creating Markets

To get to Market Pricing, type market into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Market Pricing.

How do I set up Market Pricing?

When you first receive Meevo, every location is assigned to one default market, so you can use Market Pricing immediately. If you do this, be aware that since all locations belong to that same default market, pricing updates are applied to all locations. This may not be desirable if you have significant price variations in your markets, so you'll need to create your own markets to manage pricing accordingly:

  1. Create your own market.
  2. Define pricing for that market.
  3. Transfer locations to your new market.
  4. Configure Membership Grandfather Settings, if needed.

To create a market

  1. Select the Main tab.
  2. Display Name: Enter a display name relevant to the market you are creating. For example, you may create a NY Metro market to cover the New York metropolitan area.
  3. Description: Enter an optional description that further describes this market.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Move on to configure your market prices.
