MeevoPay Features and Benefits

MeevoPay is MSI's all-in-one payment processing solution that comes with a low fixed rate, industry-leading fraud detection, comprehensive POS options, and fast funding.  

  • No royalty fees on eGift card sales:

Normally, eGift card sales are charged a 4% royalty fee. When using MeevoPay, the 4% fee on eGift card sales no longer applies!

  • Reconcile your payment activity through the MeevoXchange:

The MeevoXchange is your portal for MeevoPay merchant-related information, where you can view totals, individual transactions, and fees, as well as export MeevoPay batch details

  • Streamlined PCI Compliance

After you are approved for MeevoPay, you will complete a brief self-assessment questionnaire that usually takes less than 5 minutes. There are no initial or ongoing fees associated with PCI Compliance and MeevoPay.

  • Apply a credit card processing fee (surcharge) to transactions:

Apply surcharges to transactions that occur in the Meevo register and during Self-Pay, Online Booking, and eGift transactions, allowing you to pass on a portion of your credit card processing fees to your customers.

  • Compatible with SpaFinder Gift Cards

You can accept SpaFinder gift cards when using MeevoPay! Follow the steps outlined here to set up your MeevoPay credit card reader to accept SpaFinder gift cards.

  • Accept HSA/FSA cards:

Your business can accept HSA/FSA cards for purchases and EFTs as long as your business Merchant Category Code (MCC) is 8099 (Medical Services...). To be eligible, your business must actually offer approved HSA/FSA services. If you think your business might qualify to accept HSA/FSA cards, reach out to us at meevopay_underwriting@meevo.com.  

  • Token migration:

We support migrating card on file tokens from Worldpay to MeevoPay. Reach out to our Merchant Services team for details. 

  • Self On-Boarding:

MeevoPay offers do-it-yourself Merchant applications right in Meevo, providing self on-boarding to US and Canadian businesses.

Switching to MeevoPay from Worldpay

Please reach out to MeevoPay Merchant Services when you are ready to switch to MeevoPay. The Merchant Services team will assist with canceling your Worldpay account on your behalf and making sure cancellation fees are not assessed. Attempting to cancel by yourself could result in Worldpay assessing additional fees against your account. 

Important: When you switch to MeevoPay, your Worldpay account is not canceled automatically. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Worldpay account is actually closed, but DO NOT close the account until after a successful token migration.

Note on Worldpay POS devices: Point-of-sale devices for Worldpay are not compatible with MeevoPay. If you purchased or leased Worldpay devices from POS Portal, contact POS Portal to see if any options are available for returning devices.

Switching to MeevoPay from CardConnect

CardConnect customers must cancel their contract through CardConnect. The best course of action to avoid a cancellation fee is to know when your CardConnect contract ends so that you can cancel it between renewals. Just remember to allow for two weeks for your MeevoPay application to approved and boarded before cancelling with CardConnect.
