Front Desk Employees

To set up a new front desk employee, complete these steps in the recommended order.


1. Create the Employee's Profile

Create a profile for the employee. Use Employee Templates to quickly apply pre-configured settings.

2. Define Security

Assign the employee security roles and Smart Centers that are related to the employee's job function.

Tip: Once users have a profile and security role, they can log into Meevo and access the Meevo Academy to begin learning.

3. Enter Wage/Salary & Commission Details

Enter the employee's hourly wage/salary, and/or commission structure.

4. Add the Employee to a Department

Add the employee to the appropriate department(s).

5. Set Performance Goals

Set goals so that you can track the employee's performance on the Goals Dashboard and on reports.

6. Define the Employee's Schedule

Define a schedule with at least one paid Work Activity so that the employee appears in Payroll.

Service Providers

To set up a new service provider, complete these steps in the recommended order.



1. Create the Employee's Profile

Create a profile for the employee. Use Employee Templates to quickly apply pre-configured settings.

Note that if you use Online Booking, you'll need to make the employee available to clients who are booking online.

2. Define Security

Assign the employee security roles and Smart Centers that are related to the employee's job function.

3. Define the Services the Employee Can Perform

Select the services that the employee performs, the time required to complete each service, and the price levels for that employee.

4. Enter License & Insurance Details

Enter the employee's professional licenses and liability insurance details.

5. Enter Wage/Salary & Commission Details

Enter the employee's hourly wage/salary, deductions, booking restrictions, and/or commission structure.

6. Add the Employee to a Department

Add the employee to the appropriate department(s).

7. Set Performance Goals

9. Consider IP Restrictions

If you've set up IP Restrictions, consider what kind of Meevo access this employee should be have when logging in from an off-site location.

10. Configure Alerts

Set up alerts to notify this employee when a particular action relevant to their duties (such as a client checking in) is performed in Meevo.

Manager
